This class consist of 7 sessions: 50 minutes driving and 50 minutes observing. The final test is included. In each session the student will have the opportunity to improve his/her driving skills.
Upon successful completion of the course, Potomac Driving School will issue a temporary license valid for 6 months. This document along with the Learner’s Permit will be the license for the new driver. The student will be exempt from the road skills test at the DMV. Within the next few months the juvenile court will send a letter with the date and time of the Licensing Ceremony. At the Ceremony the student will receive the hard copy of the license.

This is an online class with the partnership of National Driver Training.
•It is directed to Home Schooled students
•Students moving from another Country of State
•Students who have not taken the Driver Education Class in high school due to different reasons
The program consists of at least 36 hours of instruction and includes components about alcohol safety, drug abuse awareness, aggressive driving, distracted driving, pedestrian and bicycle safety, handicapped parking, fuel efficient driving practices, motorcycle awareness and organ and tissue donation awareness as required by law.
You must be at least 15 years and 6 months old to take the online driver education course. All individuals who elect to take the classroom component of the driver education course online must take the online course through a DMV licensed driver training school. Homeschooled students are exempt from this requirement.
In order to benefit from this course, you must be able to work independently and be comfortable with using a computer.

•On the day of testing, you must bring the following to the test site:
•Photo identification (DMV issued identification card, school issued identification card, valid passport or military identification)
•Proof of completion of the on line driver education course
•A completed "Parental Consent for Online Driver Education Examination" (DTS 62), if you are under age 18
•Proof of completion of the additional 90-minute parent/teen course if you are under age 18 and live in Planning District 8 (counties of Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William and cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, Manassas and Manassas Park)
•The online driver training school will provide a computer for testing.
Student and Parent in Planning District 8 (Counties of Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William and cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, Manassas and Manassas Park) must attend an additional minimum 90-minute parent/student driver education component as part of the in-classroom portion of the driver education curriculum emphasizing parental responsibilities regarding juvenile driver behavior, juvenile driving restrictions pursuant to Virginia Code and the dangers of driving while intoxicated and underage consumption of alcohol as required by

•8 hour Driver’s Manual Course if you present proof that you have completed the 36 fifty minute periods of the Driver Education classroom component.

This driving class is designed for people of all ages that need to learn how to drive regardless of your driving skill is. Our Virginia certified instructors will help develop the first steps to become a responsible driver
This is offered to students who desire to take private lessons plus classes to get licensed by our school. Offering special prices.
This is offered to drivers 21 and younger who have received a driving ticket and need to attend in person to the Clinic as required by DMV.
It is also offered to gain +5 points in your driving record.
